I love cats. This is a certified fact. I got my first cat when I was 16, a little late, you might say, to be a true cat lover. But there is a reason: it was only then that I was able to convince my parents to adopt the beautiful, sweet, sociable . . . . Attila, a small lost kitten, only a few months old, tossed from a car on a warm autumn night. It was destiny that I happened to walk by that way in that moment and it was love at first sight. After Attila I have had other European cats all with names from characters of the legendary knights of the Round Table. And so it came to be that, for long or short periods of time, my life was filled with these friends: Emrys (European black cat, yellow eyes), Artu' (European black cat, yellow eyes), Uther (European black cat, yellow eyes), Cei (European red cat, orange eyes), Myrddin (European gray tabby cat, blue eyes), Ginevra (European white, brown and gray cat, green eyes) and Bedwyr called Spugna (Sponge)(European gray tabby cat, yellow eyes). Each one of them the main character of a beautiful story. |

Only in 2002, following a trip to Genova, did we come across our first Chartreux cat. I had read a lot about this type of cat, but I never imagined how my life and that of my family could change in terms of love, friendship and passion. From the province of Genova arrived our first "mythical" Florence di Sinus Iridum, who was chosen by Marco, my older son. |

A year later in Padova we met George Clooney . . . . no, I'm not talking about the famous actor, but of the magnificent cat that became part of our "nest", chosen this time by Matteo, my youngest son. In 2004 the first litter was born, 8 marvelous kittens, of which we kept one, Keanu, nicknamed "Blue Garfield". Can you try guessing why? We would not be able to stay without him. The following year, in Venice, Lilo was born, our second female, of Austrian descent, a mix of tenderness and stubbornness. |

We accepted her in our family with open
arms! Not so much Florence, she's quite the jealous type. In the meantime we had chosen a name for our poster: Myrddin Emrys, celtic for Merlin the magician, because the legend of Kind Arthur never left us. At the beginning of 2007 George as well as Keanu had finished the championship, becoming European champions. |

From the litter of Lilo that year, Nina of Myrddin Emrys stayed with us, and she is looking very promising. This is my "hairy" tribe, my big love, second only after my sons. My passion, what brings me to my travels in Italy, Austria, Slovenia and Croatia during these last years, from show to show to admire beings that are the most elegant, charming and mysterious of this planet: cats, in general, and especially the famous Chartreux!
A thanks for the translation in English to Mrs. Marina Macovaz.
I wish you a pleasant visit in my website!
